It originally formed the Royal Enfield section of his definitive work in six volumes, British Motorcycles Since 1950. Out of print for many years, original copies of these volumes are hard to find. This book is our own exclusive reprint.
Steve writes with authority about all the models built between 1946 and 1970. His analysis of the company and its eventual demise is well worth reading.
An appendix includes some information on dating frames and engines, colour schemes and modern paint equivalents for restorers.
